A few others I've seen recommended have really tacky/early-00's looking designs. That seems like a really specific problem, but I've encountered that with about four skins I've tried so far (Is it a problem on my end?).
For instance, one problem I kept having was the skin making it so that I can only resize the app by pulling on specific corner, which doesn't work because if I open a high-res video and I don't already have VLC at the top-left of my screen, it will go below the taskbar and I can no longer acess the ONE corner that I can resize the window by.
I've spent the last hour or so of my life searching for a good looking dark skin to no avail, all of the skins I've found so far make a lot of changes to the UI I don't like.
I've been using VLC to play videos in formats/watch subtitled movies, but lately VLC's omnipresent, bright-grey UI has been getting on my nerves and there isn't a night mode.
